DimensionTopElementInsert function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

 
DimensionTopElementInsert creates a root element in a dimension. This can only be created if the dimension does not have a standalone root element. This action occurs after a commitment to the process (e.g., at the end of executing the metadata tab). To action this function immediately, use DimensionTopElementInsertDirect.

In the video, the DimensionTopElementInsert will be used to create a singular root element called, All Sales Territories, for the Sales Territory dimension

  • ElName = Element Name
